A senior living community designed for successful aging.
The Masterpiece Living® Lifestyles at First & Main of New Albany.
A 10-year study funded by the renowned MacArthur Foundation in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic proved that growing older doesn’t have to be a slow, steady decline. Instead it can be a time of continued growth throughout all aspects of life – socially, intellectually, physically and spiritually.
Seniors who wish to forego the work and maintenance of living at home can find this in a retirement community. But, if their goal is to live healthier and happier, they must choose a senior living community that provides a specific plan, overarching culture and proven system for measuring success. That’s where Masterpiece Living at First & Main of New Albany comes in – a meaningful, person-centered dedication to wellness.
The Masterpiece Living lifestyle is a direct result of the 10-year groundbreaking “Successful Aging” study, and is statistically proven as a path to a longer, healthier life. With a focus on holistic wellness that’s unique to Masterpiece Living, First & Main of New Albany brings together all of the physical, mental, social and spiritual elements shown to promote overall health and wellness. First & Main’s entire culture revolves around these core ideas and best practices, which helps each resident of our senior living community grow as individuals and lead more fulfilled, happier lives.
First & Main New Albany’s commitment to Masterpiece Living can be seen throughout our programming calendar, as well as the diverse list of club-like amenities we offer each of our residents. An onsite movie theater, courtyard putting green, computer rooms, and arts and crafts areas all contribute to the mentally stimulating lifestyle goals of residents, while an onsite chapel and tranquil outdoor greenspace provide moments of reflection and spiritual growth. Our onsite state-of-the-art exercise and therapy gym, as well as our salon and day spa serve the physical needs and goals of our residents, while our robust calendar of social events, including live entertainment in The Courtyard and happy hours at our bistro, provide opportunities for residents to build lasting friendships and stay active socially.
Individuals choosing our senior living community have the unique opportunity to embrace the Masterpiece Living lifestyle. Now that lifestyle choices have been found to account for up to 70 percent of how we age, it’s not just about eating healthy and staying active. So many other factors account for our quality of life and overall lifespan, and at First & Main, we offer a multitude of resources and opportunities for residents to thrive while aging in our senior living community. Using the Masterpiece Living program as the true center of what we are, we stand out among retirement homes as a place to live life to the fullest.
